River wolf tour (5 days – 4 nights)

Program Details – Day 1

• (08:00 am) – Pick up from the hotel or airport.
• (09:45 am) – Arrival in the city of Nauta and navigation by the Marañón river.
• (12:45 pm) – Arrival at the camp.
• (01:30 pm) – Typical lunch of the region.
• (03.00 pm) – Observation of gray and pink dolphins and swim with them.
• (04:00 pm) – Walk in primary jungle in search of monkeys.
• (05:30 pm) – Sunset observation.
• (06:30 pm) – Typical dinner of the region.
• (07:30 pm) – Night excursion (we will observe tarantulas, marsupials, frogs, snakes, etc.)

Program Details – Day 2

• (05:30 a.m.) – Observation of the sunrise.
• (06:00 am) – Hike to observe the shansho (prehistoric bird).
• (08:00 am) – Breakfast.
• (09:00 am) – Sailing along the Pucate river to find a place to camp.
• (10:30 am) – Construction of refuge for overnight.
• (11:30 am) – Piranha fishing (what we catch will be part of our dinner).
• (01:30 pm) – Lunch.
• (03:00 pm) – Walk in primary jungle in search of wildlife.
• (04:30 pm) – Observation of the Lupuna (giant tree).
• (07:00 pm) – Dinner
• (08:00 pm) – Night canoe excursion to observe alligators.

• (07:30 am) – Breakfast.
• (09:00 am) – Learning techniques to find water.
• (01:00 pm) – Lunch
• (02:30 pm) – Learning techniques for the use of machetes and construction of personal refuges.
• (07:30 pm) – Dinner.

Program Details – Day 4

• (07:30 am) – Breakfast.
• (08:30 am) – Visit to the Iricahua lagoon and wildlife observation.
• (01:30 pm) – Lunch.
• (03:00 pm) – Harpoon fishing learning.
• (04:00 pm) – Preparation of barbecue for harpoon fishing.
• (07:30 pm) – Dinner.

Program Details – Day 5

• (05:30 am) – Canoe excursion and wildlife observation.
• (07:30 am) – Breakfast.
• (09:00 am) – Search for lazy bear.
• (10:30 am) – Visit to the community of Buenos Aires.
• (03:30 pm) – Return to the city of Nauta.
• (05:30 pm) – Arrival in Iquitos and transfer to the hotel or airport.
