This 3-day, 2-night tour is aimed at people who are not only really interested in knowing the culture along with the wildlife but also want the comfort of being in a lodge in the jungle of Iquitos. Program Details – Day 1
- (09:00 am) – Pick up from the hotel or airport
- (09:40 am) – Observation of the waters of the Nanay and Amazonas rivers.
- (10:30 am) – Visit to the Independence Viewpoint (we will observe the majestic Amazon River).
- (11:30 am) – Arrival at the lodge and welcome with fruit refreshment.
- (01:00 pm) – Lunch buffet.
- (03:00 pm) – Watching pink dolphins and swim in the Amazon river.
- (04:00 pm) – Piranha fishing.
- (05:30 pm) – Observation of the sunset on the Amazon River.
- (06:30 pm) – Buffet dinner.
- (07:30 pm) – Night excursion (we will look for frogs, tarantulas, nocturnal insects).
Program Details – Day 2
- (05:30 am) – Bird watching.
- (07:30 am) – Breakfast.
- (09:00 am) – Visit to the Yahua community (we will know their customs, dances and we will use the blowgun).
- (10:30 am) – Botanical walk to discover medicinal plants.
- (01:00 pm) – Lunch buffet.
- (03:00 pm) – Visit to the artisanal sugar mill (we will taste the best drinks in the region).
- (04:00 pm) – We will meet the community of Huashalado.
- (06:30 pm) – Buffet dinner.
Program Details – Day 3
- (07:30 am) – Breakfast buffet.
- (09:00 am) – Walk in primary jungle to observe the Lupuna (giant tree).
- (01:00 pm) – Lunch buffet.
- (04:00 pm) – Visit to the animal rescue center (we will observe woolly monkeys, maquisapa, squirrel monkey, macaws, toucans, anaconda, boa constrictors, prehistoric turtles, coatis, etc).
- (05:00 pm) – Arrival in Iquitos and transfer to the hotel or airport.
